Many people will say that Warcraft is the better RPG ever made but I disagree. Brief History Diablo I was created by a small grouping of coders from a company called Blizzard Entertainment. The first title was just called “Diablo”. In the first title you started off as 1 of 3 classes of characters and battled the right path through many monsters, bosses and story line before you killed Diablo himself. Diablo II came out next which was a far greater game and so they added 4 new classes of characters. They continued the story line and introduced new characters and added a lot of new items. This game reigned in it’s time and of the many games I ever played (which is really a LOT!)#) this game was always the most effective. I literally played it for 5 years. Diablo III During the time of this article this game was not released nevertheless the mere trailers and teaser videos alone have many people hyped up and looking towards this 3rd version. They overhauled the game completely but kept all the crucial elements which will make Diablo the best in its class of hack n’ slash. They kept the game in third person view but enhanced the graphics tremendously using directx 10. This is often was I was hoping they would do and I am very excited. WoW Cataclysm - New Changes For The Warrior Class
Thursday, April 28th, 2011For those who play as the warrior class in Wrath of the Lich King, it may have been a frustrating experience. Even though the Warrior were given some some powerful abilities, Blizzard felt that these abilities were made too strong and therefore gave this class an unfair advantage over other classes in PvP battle. Blizzard made the decision to nerf these abilities, much to the dismay of players using the warriors. “Nerf” is the practice of removing a talent or skill that Blizzrd deems is too strong. There is some good news though, with the release of the latest installment Cataclysm. Warriors in Cataclysm are given back much of the skills that were originally removed. In addition, the warrior class now also have some new abilities that can be gained through their talent tree. Warriors will continue to have the Arms as their top spec, as this gives them the ability to utilize Mortal Strike, which has been touted as the most powerful wound strike of all classes. The amount of damage can be increased even further when this attack is supplemented with gushing wound, which stacks if the inflicted victim moves. For Cataclysm, the Warriors will have some juicy new skills. One is the Colossus Smash which can penetrate the armor of enemies for six seconds. This will make the warrior dangerous at close range for any class. Warriors will also have the new Heroic Leap ability which enables them to jump into the fray from long distance, and also comes with a cool down of its own. Warriors are such a fun and bad ass class to use because of their ability to dish out such a high amount of damage every time they strike. The warrior’s talent tree have been changed by Blizzard so that the Arms warrior will be the only spec that can be build for PvP. There are the arrival of brand new talents as well. One of these is the Lamb of Slaughter which comes to play after using Mortal Strike and is capable of doing extra damage. The total damage will vary and is dependent on the points you have for that talent. Hopefully Blizzard will stay out of the way and not nerf the Warriors again like they did in Wrath of the Lich King.
